Friendship

I like how the sun is behind the boy, illuminating him. It gives the picture an innocent quality, like the child is starting to explore the world a little bit. The wolf was very well placed, looming over him in a position that would make most adults run away. It emphasizes the kid’s curiosity. Also, I think it makes the wolf seem curious as well, of this small creature that doesn't flee. The slightly dreamlike quality of the picture also helps to emphasize this feeling.
The background was made to be vague; it seems, to draw your attention to the characters.
The wolf seems relatively well defined, as opposed to the boy, who is like a blank slate. (he could be anyone, seeing yourself in the picture, etc.)

overall, it seems to be a well executed, meaningful depiction of your characters relationship. well done!
